The Academy puts great emphasis on the importance of Academy uniform in creating an atmosphere of smartness and discipline.
The Academy uniform comprises of the following:
- Dark Teal Blazer, with school logo
- Charcoal Grey trousers or skirt (no denim, cord, combats, cargo, lycra or stretch)
- White shirt/blouse (long sleeve in winter, short sleeve in summer, cotton material)
- Academy tie
- Grey ‘V’ necked jumper with trim
- White/black socks or black tights (girls)
- Black shoes with low heel
- Plain Grey/Black/Blue head scarf/turban
The Academy blazer is to be worn at all times; however staff may give permission for blazers to be removed during lesson time.
The sports kit comprises of the following:
Boys
- Sports shirt (Navy/Jade Badged - long sleeved)
- P.E. Polo shirt (Navy/Jade Badged - short sleeved)
- Sport shorts (Navy/Jade Badged)
- Sports socks (Navy/Jade Hooped)
Girls
- Sports shirt (Navy/Jade Badged - long sleeved)
- P.E. Polo shirt (Navy/Jade Badged - short sleeved)
- Sports shorts or Jog bottoms (shorts – Navy/Jade Badged - Jog bottoms Navy Badged)
- Sports socks (Navy/Jade Hooped)
The uniform is distinctive and is therefore easy to check.
All students must wear white shirts tucked into the waistband, charcoal grey trousers or skirts, black shoes, an Academy sweater and tie. Boys should wear black or white socks and girls should wear white socks or black tights.
Staff should also ensure they are good role models in the matter of professional dress.
Students will NOT be allowed to wear:
- Combat jackets, hooded jackets, caps, badges, flags or slogans printed or sewn on jackets.
- Trainers or high-heeled shoes.
- Jewellery, except for a watch.
Please be aware that:
- Severe or extreme haircuts will be challenged
- All property must be clearly named
