Chess Club runs every Friday 2.40pm - 4.00pm in the Cryer Street Learning Resource Centre and is run by a trained Chess instructor, Mr David Hardy who is ranked 3rd in the Stockport Chess Club League. Librarians Ms Tennent and Miss Thompson welcome students of all abilities to come along, whether you are a beginner, want to improve your game, or you just want to play for fun and make new friends! We aim to compete in the Tameside Chess League in the not to distant future.
