On Friday 23rd January 2015 a rewards trip for students who have reached or exceeded their personal targets took place.
Students stayed at a purpose build education centre high above Buxton. The converted Georgian Hall has been beautifully restored with student bunk rooms as well as a vast equipment store for the huge range of outdoor activities available.
The Friday evening started with an evening meal and ended with a 4 mile night hike in massive snow drifts. Some students managed to slide a big part of the way on their backs.
On the Saturday and Sunday the students were asked to choose an activity session for half a day from Abseiling, Caving, High Ropes and Orienteering. The kind staff cooked a barbeque on the Saturday evening which was really tasty and had lots of food for the hungry hill walker.
Overall all staff and students had a really enjoyable weekend.
