Droylsden Academy boys football teams had a successful week of fixtures against Denton Community College.

The Year 8 team especially having a fantastic game, after conceding an early goal, they battled throughout the whole game hitting every part of the woodwork, but failing to score. They were by far the better team, and with the last kick of the game Adam Sandiford scored a perfectly weighted chip to beat the keeper, to gain a more than deserved draw. 

The Year 9 and 10 teams both scored some goals of real quality and both pulled off 5-1 victories, so very well done.
