The Academy's first Sports Day will take place on Friday 9^th July for Year 7 and 8's only at the Cryer Street site. Due to the loss of the field at the Manor Road site due to work on the new build there will be a separate house event which will be organised for another day for Year's 9 and 10 at Manor Road.

Year 7 and 8 Sports Day - Cryer Street

The format is as follows:

• Period 1 and 2 - Students taking part in field events will be released from lessons to do their events. No spectators.

• Period 4 and 5 - Students taking part in track events will be released from lessons to do their events. Spectators allowed – with supervision from class teacher.

Further information to follow and Sports Captains from Mandela and Pankhurst houses will be contacted soon to organise their teams.
