GCSE Photography students get pointers off a professional

On Tuesday 17th November Paul Devlin (professional photographer) came in so the academy to work with two Year 11 classes on their final photos for their Photography GCSE. They are working on Unit 3: which is to design a magazine front cover, take the photographs, and manipulate them using Photoshop and add text.

Paul brought his ‘studio’ in to the Academy and helped the students obtain a professional look on the photographs they had planned. Some of the students brought in ‘props’ to shoot and others arranged models and costumes. I was extremely pleased with the student’s organization, professional approach and creative ideas.
