Following a vigorous application process the second Head Boy and Head Girl of Droylsden Academy have been appointed, along with deputies for each position respectively. Banjamin has been appointed Head Boy with Emma appointed as Head Girl. Alongside them two Deputies were appointed in the form of James and Saariah as Deputy Head Boy and Head Girl respectively. Their roles will be to represent the Academy at various events, appoint and lead a group of 15 suitable pupils as Prefects, in addition to being the student voice of the Academy.

"As Head Boy and Head Girl we believe that school should be enjoyable for everyone. We think that respect is key and is the foundation of a good pupil, teacher relationship. We aim to maintain a level of respect in school for all. We want school to be a happy and comfortable place for everyone to attend. We hope that over the next year school is a pleasant place to be and that we can contribute to that and help all who need our assistance in any way at all."
