Many thanks to staff and students who participated in events to raise money for the people of Japan who were affected by the devastating earthquake and resulting tsunami. Thank you for joining in with the spirit of the occasion.

Mr Jones commented, "Special credit should go to the Cryer Street Student Council who worked long and hard  preparing for the event." At the Cryer Street site alone, £249 has been raised today, however this figure is set to rise as there are even more cakes to sell on Monday.
