House Captains have done a fantastic job in the promotion of the second Readathon event to take place this academic year at the Academy. The captains promoted the event during assemblies. To date only 8 cards have been returned raising an impressive £110!

In the first Readathon event that took place at the end on 2009 an inspiring £306 was raised which we hope to beat in this second event. Student Cerys Rhodes; Year 7 is in the lead so far with £50 returned and in the running to win 500 Vivo points!

All Readathon sponsor money and sponsor card's need to be collected as soon as possible, in order to support children with serious illnesses. Please submit money and sponsor cards to Miss Thompson or Mrs Tennent or any of the "Student Librarian's" as quickly as possible. We are hoping we can beat our last collection of £306!
