To coincide with ‘World Book Day’ the LRC are launching a competition to win a £20 gift voucher of you choice and oodles of Vivo points!

We would like you to design a Droylsden Academy bookmark which must display the Droylsden Academy logo and a design of your choice. Please be creative and incorporate where possible an element of the Academy colours. You can either take your hand drawn entry to Mrs Tennent at Cryer Street or Miss Thompson at Manor Road or if you prefer you can design your bookmark on the computer and email it to btennent@droylsdenacademy.com or mthompson@droylsdenacademy.com

There will be five winning designs one from each year group and all will be printed for use in the LRC. Make a start today and use your imagination; you might have a favourite author or book to which you can look for inspiration, or maybe you could fill your bookmark with all your favourite book characters. We look forward to judging your entries! The closing date is Thursday 3rd March 2011: World Book Day
