LRC transformed to Le Café Bibliotheque for the day

Droylsden Academy Learning Resource Centre changed it's name to ‘Le Café Bibliotheque’ on Wednesday 19^th January 2011 and it was a huge success! The students had the opportunity to try French delights such as brioche, pain au chocolat, petit pain, French cheeses such as Camembert and Port Salut and various baguettes. We had French café music playing and some of the students completed a word search in which all the words were written in English and they had to find the French equivalent.
A good time was had by all and every single item of food was consumed with only the crumbs remaining! The students have asked that I repeat the event again and maybe next time we will have a Spanish theme.
