Droylsden Academy’s nurture suite students took a trip down to the Imperial War Museum, Salford, on Tuesday as part of their World War II studies. The trip was designed to extend classroom studies into the wider local community, creating a unique multi-sensory experience for all students as well as building upon social skills. Highlights included the Horrible History show, taking photographs and going up to the top of the air shaft!
“Students were very well behaved and I was really impressed by their conduct.”
“Great to see our student’s interacting with each other and enjoying the exhibitions.”
Droylsden Academy would like to thank all staff at the Imperial War museum who were fabulous in supporting our students in their experience.
