We will be holding a Parent Partnership Evening at the Academy on the evening of Thursday 14th January for parent/carers of Year 11 students where we will be looking at 'Important Study Skills' as your child approaches their second set of Year 11 Pre-Public Exams.
As you know, these final months are vital to your son/daughter’s future and will make a difference to the rest of their lives. We are very keen to offer the best support we can so that, together, we can ensure your son/daughter leaves our school with the very best qualifications they can achieve.
The evening has been planned with the aim of giving you, as parents and carers, guidance so that you can join us in supporting your son/daughter. The evening will consist of the following four sessions:
The sessions have all been planned with the intention of supporting you and your son/daughter. We believe that our pupils will benefit from this additional boost, as they always do when they see home and school working together.
We will be offering refreshments from 5.15pm so please let us know if you would like to join us or if you have any dietary requirements.
We look forward to seeing you and your child at our Partnership Evening and thank you, in advance, for your continued support.
If you would like more information on the evening, or are unable to attend and would like further information on the topics covered on the night then please do not hesitate to get in touch with Mr Frost, Head of Year 11 who will happily provide you with further information.
