Every month the Photography department run a 'Photo of the Month' competition which invites GCSE Photography students to take photograph around a particular theme.

The competition is judged by the Photography department; Mrs Dunnington, Miss McCarthy and Mrs Rayner. Each winner receives a framed print of their photograph, a certificate in addition to having their winning photograph displayed here on the website, on the digital screens around the Academy and in the monthly newsletter.

The winning photographs are exhibited on the 'Wall of Achievement' for all students, staff, and visitors to see and enjoy.
