Senior Ambassadors elected

Daniel Taylor and Mia Finlay were the successful students in applying for the Senior Ambassador posts at Cryer Street. Six students were interviewed by Head Boy and Girl, Josh Fraser and Beth Lowe these were; Scott Nesbitt, Daniel Bayes, Alex Howson, Joeseph Holland and Joe Ainsworth.

The Ambassadors will meet every Friday during registration/tutorial. Daniel and Mia will lead the meeting which will brief the Ambassadors about events happening in the Academy and how they can help out. The six students who applied for the Senior role will be trained to evaluate learning in the classroom. When appropriate they will work alongside staff to evaluate the quality of provision especially in their chosen curriculum area. This group of students may also have other positions of responsibility in the Academy from School Council duties and being involved in the House systems. The Ambassadors were chosen for their outstanding respect to the Academy uniform policy, their behaviour, and work effort.

Further information on the Senior Ambassadors and the work they do can be found on the Student Ambassadors section of the website.
