Are you keen to expand your CV and make yourself more attractive to colleges and employees? We will be looking to get as many of our students as possible involved in voluntary work next year. In the meantime, if you want to have a look at some of the excellent opportunities in the Droylsden area log on to www.do-it.org and follow the link below the website is easy to use:
- Using the quick search box on the left hand side click on 'Advanced Search'
- A screen will appear with four steps
- Enter your postcode in Step 1,
- Step 2 choose your interest or leave all interests, in the box below (all activities) scroll down the list until you get “Under 16 volunteering” select this
- Step 3 select the days and times you are available using the tick boxes
- Step 4 click the 'Find It' button, and a list of possible matches will be come up after a few seconds
You can also just enter your postcode and interest on the first screen; however, you need to check that the position is suitable for a student aged 16 and under.
