On the Wednesday 12th October 2011 the Key103 Media bus came to Droylsden Academy where students in Year 9 auditioned to play a key role in the Academy forthcoming radio station Random Radio. The roles that students were auditioning for included being part of the marketing team, creative writing team, news team and the presenting team.
The students who successfully passed the audition stage include Amy Kerr, Mike Mabaleka and Muhammad Ali who will be joining the marketing team, Adam Carr, Scott Nesbit and Abhishek Bhakta who will be joining the news team, Daniel Bayes, Jessica Greaves and Laurie Cabbin who will be joining the creative writing team and finally Lucy Yates, Mia Finlay and Molly Graham who will be joining the presenting team.
The students had a great experience, and really enjoyed themselves whilst on the bus, and they shown so much creativity and left a lasting impression with the Key103 staff.
