Final few places available in Manchester and Southampton

The Offer
Deloitte’s long standing Scholar Scheme continues to recruit into its Manchester and Southampton offices. The sponsorship scheme is for students who’d like to gain work experience with them between leaving school and starting university.

Successful students are offered a seven-month paid placement starting in September, plus £1,500 to travel for the rest of their gap year. On top of this, there’s a £1,500 academic bursary for each year of their university study, and at least four weeks’ paid work each academic year.

Deloitte will be running two Scholar Insight Events on May 11^th 2011 for Year 11, 12 & 13 students to find out more. Students will get the opportunity to meet current scholars, take part in an interactive business game and receive advice and guidance on completing application forms and attending interviews. These events will take place at the following venues:

The events are ideal for students in year 12 that are interested in future schemes. Students will be able to apply for 2012 scheme from 1st July 2011.

The scheme is open to all final year A-level (or equivalent) students who would consider taking a gap year before attending university. There are only a few places remaining on the 2011 scheme so students wishing to start the programme this September are advised to apply now.
