Students are invited to take part in a range of activities outside of lesson time to further enhance their educational experience.
Students may complete homework and independent study in our Great Learning Zone and Learning Resource Centre (LRC) before school and after school, at break and at lunch times. Students have access to extensive ICT facilities both in and beyond the classroom. Students are also welcome to remain in the Academy at the end of the school day to attend Homework Club; during this time teachers are on hand should assistance be required.

Students build on their creative skills by experimenting with materials and techniques. This increases their confidence and enjoyment of the subject in a fun environment.
Students spend time developing their chess skills, then compete against students and staff.
Students have the time to relax and mentally challenge each other with games such as Drafts, Connect 4, Scrabble and Ludo.
A main feature of our Academy, students have the opportunity to complete the world’s leading youth achievement award in which students can develop their skill set by taking part in a range of activities.
Students complete their homework in school with members of staff and Student Leaders on hand to assist if necessary.
Languages Club offer a range of language themed activities for students to experience, for example, foreign films, beginner’s language lessons, and getting creative.
We offer a wide range of competitive sports and activities within the Academy and we encourage students to be active and get involved with one of the many activities on offer.
Students explore the world of Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths through a range of engaging and forward thinking activities.
In History Club students look at current and past events and the impact that they have on our world.
