The under 13s football team took part in a recent 6-a-side competition ran by Stockport County at Houldsworth Mill. The girls faced two tough matches against Kingsway School, and Cheadle Hulme B. The girls all played fantastically well, Lauren, Tilly and Natasha all contributed to the scoring, and Laine and Aimee pulled off some fantastic, strong performances at the back meaning the team only conceded one goal. 

The girls progressed to the semi finals where they came up against Cheadle Hulme A. An early onslaught of attacking opportunities saw a well taken goal from Tilly, but Cheadle quickly responded taking the match to 1-1. The rest of the game was end to end, and a quick break saw Madeline take us back infront with the score at 2-1, but a goal in dying seconds meant the match was drawn at 2-2 and 5 minutes of 'Golden Goal' extra time was to be played!
