Mrs Rumney’s Year 10 GCSE Art class recently spent the day in central Manchester. First visiting the City Art Gallery, to experience the work of artists old and new, and then spending the rest of the time gathering visual resources for their new project “Architecture”.
Whilst visiting Manchester Town Hall they were lucky enough to get a guided tour of the restricted areas not usually accessible to the public. This experience beyond the classroom will help inspire students to create a rich and diverse body of work.
Further photographs from the trip can be found in the Photo Gallery.
