The Year 10 Photography group entered 30 photographs in the Central Art Gallery Image 11 Competition. Image 11 is the annual Secondary School and College Photography Competition set up by Tameside Metropolitan Borough Council.
Each year the competition has a different theme, this year’s theme is Interiors/Indoors and the response has been overwhelming with over 110 entries from many schools and colleges across the borough.

The judges were very impressed with all the entries and six Academy students had their work put into the “Specially Selected Category”. All entries can be viewed at the Central Art Gallery on Old Street, Ashton-under-Lyne between the 1st April and the 18th June 2011.
