FRIDAY PRIDE DAY!!

Both staff and students enjoyed another successful Friday Pride Day event on Friday 23rd January. Over 80 students were invited to attend by staff presenting golden and diamond tickets for their outstanding work and collecting a fantastic prize.

Students love Friday Pride Day and we love celebrating with our students.

Rijja Yavari was awarded a diamond ticket by Mrs Isherwood for outstanding homework in Maths – this was extra work that she completed to an excellent standard. Her teacher, Mr Tiley, wanted her to be recognised for this extra achievement.

“In Maths I made an outstanding effort to complete extra Maths revision homework. My teacher said that this was an amazing effort and was really pleased with my attitude. Mr Tiley was really happy with the work that I produced. I felt really appreciated for the effort that I put into my work and I was very happy to be recognised for what I achieved. There is a good range of prizes including that suits lots of different students. I was able to collect some resources that I can use for revision. I really like Friday Pride Day – it’s a good way to recognise hard work.”
