Both staff and students enjoyed another successful Friday Pride Day event on Friday 13th March. Over 70 students were invited to attend by staff presenting golden and diamond tickets for their outstanding work and collecting a fantastic prize.
Students love Friday Pride Day and we love celebrating with our students.

“ I was nominated by my English teacher to receive a diamond ticket. She said that I have worked exceptionally hard to prepare for the English Literature exam on An Inspector Calls – clearly using my Knowledge Organiser and quotation booklet resources to produce an excellent answer on the character of Mr Birling. She said that I am quietly and diligently working and it is paying off. I was also awarded a golden ticket by my RS teacher for excellent progress made from my T1 to my T2 score. I am really proud of myself, it gave me more motivation to work even harder. There are a variety of rewards to choose from. Some of the gifts are

I really like Friday Pride Day because it encourages students to work harder, and give them recognition for their hard work and achievement. There was a good selection of prizes on offer that it suits all students.”
