Friday Pride Day – 24/06/2026

Both staff and students enjoyed another successful Friday Pride Day event on Friday 19th June. Nearly 80 students were invited to attend by staff presenting golden and diamond tickets for their outstanding work and collecting a fantastic prize.

Students love Friday Pride Day and we love celebrating with our students.

Nathan K (Y8)

“I got a golden ticket for Outstanding effort and achievement in Maths. I felt so happy and proud. I managed to get a treat bag. The prizes are really good, there is a lot on offer. Friday Pride Day is a nice event that helps to students to strive for success that motivates and encourages them.”

“I got a diamond ticket because I showed very good form during the long jump event, demonstrated resilience and perseverance by continuing to improve my performance. I felt seen for my hard work and effort. There are a good range of prizes on offer. Friday Pride Day gives students a chance to be celebrated and fun”

“I was awarded a diamond ticket for helping coach and support the amazing year 7, 8 and 9 football teams in their Tameside cup finals. I was very happy and proud of myself. There was a wide range of good prizes on offer. I got a duck and a gummy spider because diamond ticket winners are able to choose two prizes. The atmosphere in Friday Pride Day is great and it is such a good way to put a smile on people’s faces.”
