Friday Pride Day – July 2026

Both staff and students enjoyed another successful Friday Pride Day event on Friday 10th July. Nearly 60 students were invited to attend by staff presenting golden and diamond tickets for their outstanding work and collecting a fantastic prize.

Students love Friday Pride Day and we love celebrating with our students.

Daphne H (Y7)

“I worked really hard throughout the year in Spanish. My teacher recognised me for this by awarding me with a diamond ticket. I felt really happy and proud of my achievement. There are so many good prizes on offer. I really like Friday Pride Day. It really encourages students to work hard”

Junior B (Y8)

“Although I didn’t get a golden ticket this time, I have been awarded previously. I was so proud of my friend, Matthew, and wanted to celebrate with him by getting a photo of the two of us”.

“My English teacher recognised my hard work and effort in English. I felt very happy and rewarded for all of my hard work. There were a lot of different prizes to choose from. Friday Pride Day is a good rewards initiative, it encourages and motivates students to work harder to be a ticket”

“In English I continue to work hard. My teacher rewarded me by giving me a golden ticket for the excellent  annotations and note taking that I do during the lessons. I was so proud and happy about how well I had done. I was able to get some sweets from the prizes. Friday Pride Day is such as good way to reward students for their hard work and effort in subjects. It helps students push themselves and feel proud of their hard work.”

“I was rewarded with a golden ticket in History. For my excellent effort in History, excellent grades in PPEs and homework. I felt happy, good, proud and motivated to do well in year 11. There are so many good prizes on offer. Friday Pride Day gives good vibes on a Friday. There is such a good atmosphere and everyone is so enthusiastic – it makes you feel good!”
