Friday Pride Day – 13th February 2026

Both staff and students enjoyed another successful Friday Pride Day event on Friday 23rd January. Over 80 students were invited to attend by staff presenting golden and diamond tickets for their outstanding work and collecting a fantastic prize.

Students love Friday Pride Day and we love celebrating with our students.

“ I was so pleased to be awarded the diamond ticket for my excellent achievement of 100% in the Psychology Assessment. I felt very proud because I was recognised for my achievement in Psychology and how hard I work. It made me very happy. There were so many prizes on offer I didn’t know what to pick! I think Friday Pride Day is such a good idea as it motivates people to do better and work harder.”

“I was awarded a golden ticket by my teacher in Maths for my excellent effort and hard work. I felt very proud and happy to be rewarded. There is such a good selection of prizes, I managed to get some highlighters that I can use for English revision work. Friday Pride Day is such a good way of showing student achievement publicly.”

Lottie Stanley

“My Science teacher gave me a golden ticket because she said that I always work incredibly hard every lesson to produce excellent work and that I have an excellent attitude to learning, and my work is always well presented work. I felt really proud and happy to be recognised for my hard work. There was so much to choose from at the prizes table, it’s really encouraging.”
